windows xp home-unable to install

hope someone could help,have just finished a new build pc
spec amd 2600 processor
abitku8 motherboard
256mb ram
cd drive
80 gig sata drive
pc boots to bios ok-, when i load win cd starts installation ok,fomats drive
ok then load sata driver ok then loads setup ok but then when it restarts it
comes up with error "cyclic error-cyclic redundancy error please restart
setup" i have cleaned cd, swapped cd drive ,swapped all cables for cd drive
and hard drive,swapped hard drive,swapped ram and tried a different windows
cd and checked psu all to no avail-i now have no hair left and have run out
of ideas-can anyone out there think of something?many thanks
