Windows XP reboots during startup (endlessly)
Posted by dug on October 24th, 2005

Hi all,

Im having issues with my winxp. On boot, it goes to the screen of how
do you want to start windows (start normally, last good.., etc etc) all

selections lead to the same results. You select an option and the
machine reboots itself. I even tried the Repair mode off the CD, but
when you have to select the Windows directory you want to log onto,
again reboot. Nothing seems to work. In Debug mode it seems to get to
the Mup.sys file or after it and then reboots.

The hardware is all fine, just seems like xp got corrupted.

Nothing I have done up to now helps. I would appreciate any assistance
in this regard.

Many thanks
