XP 64 Trial Setup boots up Inspecting Hardware...
Posted by Ridge Walker on March 21st, 2006

It boots up with the CD but when it hangs at the very first Inspecting
hardware and does not do anything. This is for a totally new PC which
we
intend to test this OS to see its speed and functionality before we
decide if
XP 64 would be a viable solution to our needs for slightly over 80 PCs
later
on for a call center. Please advise. Bootup priority has been setup to
start
from DVD/CD Reader. Tried everything from Boot up to Regular ATA 133
drive
still hangs at Boot Up time [inpspecting Hardware]

Hardware:
Intel Dual Core 930s
Memory: 2GB
Drives: 300GB Maxtor SATA
Boot Drive: Raptors

You can only use windows x64 on 64bit prcoessors.. if u wanna use win x64
then u'll need to scap ur computers. but then again hence u got a dual core
then you should run windows xp.
