- Xp Home to XP Pro lost Word, Excel
- Posted by Jig on December 2nd, 2005
I have been upgrading computers at work from XP Home to XP Pro. All of them
have been going very smoothly except the presidents of the company. (Of
course)
The problem is that he no longer has MS Word or MS Excel. They do not work
and the error that comes up when he tries to open them is:
Application failed to initialize properly (0oxc0150002)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You may have to do an Office setup repair.

It should be sufficient to simply insert the Office installation CD and
select the "Detect and Repair" option.
