- Admin share
- Posted by Frank on July 29th, 2003
I work in a medical library for a university. We purchaed
47 licenses of Office XP. I do not know the particulars
except that as I recall they were sub $100 each. we then
bought 3 copies of Office XP Academic Version. This then
would supply the needed media (so we thought). I need to
install one administrative share so that I can push Office
XP out the lab ( 19 work stations, user/student must
authenicate) and another admin share for staff ( 28 static
PC's).
SO the fun part. Office XP Academic version when run with
the "/a" option refuses the installing that it requires
the "Enterprise version". OK so now what do I do? What do
I have the "right" to do.
