- Cannot install Office 2007

I cannot install Office 2007 on my computer it keeps asking for a valid
source. This is a new install. It won't install from the cd or after being
copied to the desktop.

What version of office are you trying to install? Where did it come
from (retail store, with new computer, online? ) What is the exact wording
of the error message? How far into the process did you get when you get the
error message?

Most probably you have a Update version of Office 2007 and it is looking for a qualifying Office product as so it can install. Do you have any qualifying Office app. to let this update version to install ??
