- How do I override Trial version of Office and install CD version?
- Posted by EasyMichael on September 25th, 2005
I downloaded a trial version of the Standard Office edition but never used
it. I un-installed the Trial version after a couple of days.
I then purchased the Student and Teacher Version of Office and just
attempted to install it from the CD.
The Setup did not launch from the CD as indicated in the booklet. I clicked
on the D: drive and clicked setup from the displays there.
It appears to want to reinstall the trial version of Standard Office rather
than install this version from the CD.
Could anyone please advise how to install the version from the CD and avoid
reinstalling the Trial?
Thank you.
