- how do I start office 2007 in a normal window?
- Posted by profotto on May 29th, 2008
Office 2007 applications start using the entire screen. I want them to start
in a normal window. It is quite tiresome to have to hit the multiple window
icon in the upper right, and then resize the screen EVERY TIME I start Word,
Excel or PPT.
There seems to be no configuration option selection to defeat this. Is
there a registry value I can change?

As an example right click on the Word Icon and select Properties. Then on the Shortcut Tab select the little arrow on the box marked Run and select Normal . Hit apply. Repeat for the others
