- Lost serial number

My dh is installing programs on a new machine and was
going to install our
copy of Office97. Unfortunately we can't find the serial
number. Is there
anyway to retrieve the serial number? I have the product
ID number but it is
a very long number and the serial number is asking for
only 11 digits.

Had you put your correct email in the body of the message, somebody
would have been helpful to give you the serial/PID. It is not a good
idea to give this online. Microsoft can't help you but you could try
this software:
