MS Visual Basic Error Message

MS Visual Basic Error Message: Posted by frankg on September 8th, 2005; The errror reads:
Microsoft Visual Basic in the blue bar

Compile error in hidden module:AutoExec

This happens when I launch Word and Excel after reinstalling Office 2003.
I've reinserted the disc and chosen the repair option - no luck.

I had to reinstall Office after an installation of Windows XP Pro which
overwrote an earlier XP version
