multiple users but one office 2003 setup
Posted by Mark Rowland on January 14th, 2004

I have Office pro 2003 on my laptop. I use it on my home
network on one user and then plug into a different XP
user at the office to use the office network. Is there a
way to allow both users to use the same templates,
backups, macros and files for Office. The program sets
it up with different folders for each user. I really
don't want to change all the settings and import all my
macros to the other user each time I make a change in a
macro or template.
Thanks

XP user as in Office XP or Windows XP? How are you logged onto the laptop?
Admin? Power User?

Windows XP user and Office 2003 user. Logged onto laptop
with administrator privileges but onto office network as
something less than administrator.

Sorry, copying your macros, etc. will be the only way to do this.
