- No Office 2000 cd but have key code
- Posted by Heather on August 14th, 2007
I am having issues w/my professional office cd, but I have the key code. Is
there any way that I can download it off of the web or something? Any other
ideas?

No place to download it. About your only option is to find a friend who has
the exact same version that you have (down to retail vs OEM) who will allow
you to install with their disks but your code.
What kind of issues are you having?

It depends on where the disc came from.
If it was an OEM disc, then you could try to order replacement media from
the OEM.
I am not positive, but perhaps MS would replace media if it is damaged. Try
contacting the customer central dept at 800-936-4900

Microsoft can no longer replace Office 2000 CDs. I'm not even sure if they
can still replace Office XP now that 2007 has been released.

You might want to make a copy of it while it's working. If you don't
have a CD burner maybe someone you know has one?
