- No qualifying product on setup
- Posted by Daniel on November 3rd, 2003
I bought a new coomputer and tried to set up Office XP
professional version 2002 which I purchased last year. I
received a computer error message on the initial setup
stating "no qualifying product found in any drive in the
computer". What does this mean? Thanks.

Hi Daniel,
For Office XP (2002) this message indicates that the
package you have is an upgrade package. You'll need
an Office 97 or Office 2000 CD during the installation
of Office XP/2002.

Is there any way of getting around this, as you can with
Office 2000 Upgrade?
