All of the Office 2000 programs install except Publisher.
I have installed the Office 2000 disk four times and it
still does not recognize Publisher even with "Detect and
Repair". I can not recall, but I do not think it ever
asked for my Office ID numbers.

Assuming you have the Pro version , Publisher is on the Disk two. It is a
seperate install
