Hello -

I just downloaded and applied SP1a from the web w/o any problems.

Tried to do the same with SP3 - received a message that installation failed.

Thought I'd try to install SP3 using my CD based update - only I am presented with an "extract to" request. Where would I extract the files to?

Also - would you recomment the full file installation or the patch file installation?

All applications showed SP3 already installed, but the detection web site refused to register the same...

Finally resolved the problem - I removed winword.exe and restored from the installation cd. Then reran the sp3 installation .

Everything now passes with flying colors!
