In general, Office 2003 won't remove anything it doesn't have a replacement part for. If you're doing a deployment you may want to
use the Custom Installation Wizard to set what you want removed/retained. http://microsoft.com/office/ork

This is on a win2000 network of 200 machines so needs to be done when I do the 2003 upgrade initially. >>
