office 2003 leaves bits of publisher 2000
Posted by Pete on February 5th, 2004

Office 2003 is removing all my previous Office 2000 components but is leaving around 150MB of 'small business tools' and 'shared features, clipart etc' from Publisher 2000. How can I set installation to remove everything.....or don't I want ti too???
This is on a win2000 network of 200 machines so needs to be done when I do the 2003 upgrade initially.

Hi Pete,

In general, Office 2003 won't remove anything it doesn't have a replacement part for. If you're doing a deployment you may want to
use the Custom Installation Wizard to set what you want removed/retained. http://microsoft.com/office/ork
