- Office 2003 reinstallation
- Posted by Johnny Chow on January 26th, 2005
Hi,
I am working in small business company. I am curious how most company
IT handle this type of situation. We bought IBM computers/laptops with
Office 2k3 OEM small business edition. Once we receive it then we
activate office throgh internet. Recently, a lot of employees' laptop
and computers got worm/spyware and occassionally, I could not remove it
by using adware, spybot, Microsoft mailicious software, hijackthis and
norton antivirus. Therefore, I had to rebuild it. However, I could not
reactivate Office 2k3 again. Does it mean I have to repurchase the
Office software whenever hardware, software failure and disaster occur.
YOur suggestion will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Johnny Chow

You can ring Microsoft to obtain new activation codes.

I have had the same trouble. If I ring Microsoft to obtain new activation
codes, will I have to pay the $35 fee?
