- Office 2003 setup through GPO with MST file (howto silent mode?)
- Posted by markm75c@msn.com on June 2nd, 2005
I have created an administrative installation directory which is shared
out to users (not sure if i needed to do the admin share vs just
copying the cd image out to the network)...
I then did a mst file based on the admin share and set everything.
I then added the mst file to a GPO software package.
When the end user clicks on the software it brings up the office
wizard. Is there a way to have the msi package operate in silent mode.
I realize I could customize the setup.ini and just click on the
setup.exe file, however, I want a GPO, one click solution.
I've tried to use Wininstall LE to capture the installation, but it has
not worked either.
Thanks
