- Office 2007 Slow Down File Dialogs?

After installing Office 2007, file open or save as dialogs take forever to
give me a browse list.
What could be causing this? What is the solution?

To clarify, I'm running Windows XP. I get message "Initializing Folders,
Initializating the root folders to display." Is this related to Office 2007
or something else entirely? -billb
