- Office Customization Question on Updates Directory
- Posted by Trent on May 6th, 2008
Hi there,
I read that any patches/updates that you put in the Updates Directory for a
push out of Office 2007 using the Office Customization Tool will be
installed on the pc when pushed out to them...
I'm looking to install the SaveAsPDFandXPS.exe program for Office 2007 and
am wondering if I put it in this directory if it will be installed or if I
should set up a Add Program Entry for it???
Any help appreciated...

it wont install in that directory. You will need to do a chained installation
in order to do that. I am troubleshooting that myself actually. I can get it
to work, but not the way MS says it does.
