- Office Standard Edition 2003 Installation
- Posted by Allen on April 28th, 2004
I've just installed a brand new copy of Office Standard
Edition 2003. The installation process seems to have
gone just fine and I've also activated the software. For
some reason, the icons for Word, Excell, and PowerPoint
don't appear on my desktop. What's wrong here? How do I
get the icons to appear. I can access the software if I
go to START, ALL PROGRAMS, etc. Please help.

Not sure what you're on about - Office has never put icons on the desktop.
If you're talking about the shortcut bar had you bothered to RTFM you'd have
found your answer - it doesn't exist.
