Pet peeve with Word restoring 2nd word doc when open new word doc

Pet peeve with Word restoring 2nd word doc when open new word doc: Posted by Dave on August 6th, 2007; When I have one or more word docs already open but minimized and I open a
new word doc, then one of the other word docs also restores to it's previous
size. Is there any way to turn this behaviour off???
This happens for me in word 2003 and word 2007.
