- Send to Mail Recipient

Does Outlook have to be installed in order for the "Send to Mail Recipient"
function to be present and working?
I am using Office 2007 Home and Student, with Windows Live Mail, both of
which adequately represent my needs, however this was a function I found
particularly useful and I would like to make use of it in the 2007 version
of Office.
Any help would be appreciated.....

Windows Live Mail is not a MAPI client and cannot interface with Office
programs for the send-to function. Office requires at least simple MAPI
(OE) or the full MAPI (Outlook) client.
