- Upgrade to 2003 and save customization?
- Posted by Ken Isaacson on December 1st, 2003
I'm running Office XP, and want to upgrade to Office 2003.
How do I:
1) Save all of my Outlook mail and contacts? (Just export it to a pst
file?)
2) Save all of my Word customization such as styles, autotext, autocorrect,
templates, and anything else I haven't thought of?
Finally, do I uninstall Office XP before installing 2003?
Many thanks.

For all of those, you don't do anything special - just run the install. It
will uninstall Office XP for you during the install and your settings are
migrated to the new version (mail, contacts, customizations, etc.).
