- how to get |MCE to recognise 2 tuners
- Posted by Robert C on January 3rd, 2006
I have a PC with MCE 2005 with 2 tuners. Yet when I am watching something and
MCE is about to record something else, it asks to change channels (instead of
just recording with the second tuner). When I initially installed MCE I told
it to ignore the second tuner (cable not connected). Since that time I have
connected the second tuner to the tv signal. My question, I guess is, how do
I force MCE to recognise the second tuner ? I have gone trhough reinstalling
the TV section in the hope that it would ask again about my tuners (one or
two) but nothing of a kind happened. Help !!

Robert

Hi.
Re-run the TV Setup Wizard. It's in Settings.
