Movielink and similar products

Are movies downloaded from these sites suitable for viewing on larger screen
TVs rather than 17"/19" monitors?

Is there a product that will allow downloading to a home/office PC and
sending them to a living room TV? I'm not interested in anything illegal.

The Movielink site refers to third party media extenders but there are no
specifics or help on the site. I know you can't 'burn' these rented
downloads and you cannot download them to an external HDD for moving to
another machine.

I have seen Media extenders from Hauppauge, SageTV and a wireless router
device from Linksys referenced. I already have a wired/router network but
Hauppague support indicated that these download vendors probably use unique
compression techniques that probably won't work with their Extender; so I'm
assuming I'll get a similar reply from SageTV.

I know the easiest way would be to setup a computer near the living room TV
but my wife isn't thrilled with that suggestion.

TIA,

Wayne

it's definitelly not DVD quality. it's close but close for me isn't good
enough... Doesn't look that great on HDTV's sound seemed 2 channel ...
sounds effects were fine but you could hardly make out the dialog. Try one
and judge for yourself... I'd pick something from the 1.99 pile for testing.

HD clips looks quite good too bad that they don't have any for rental.
