Multiple taskbar areas problem in Windows XP Media Center SP1...
Posted by Ant on February 17th, 2006

Hello!

I have a Windows XP Media Center SP1 (all updates) system. Its task bar
seem to have two toolbar areas for running programs (not system tray). I
can't seem to get rid of one (no close toolbar option). System tray icon
area and IME (for asian characters like Chinese) sections were fine. I
tried closing QuickLaunch, switching Start Menu setup, making task bar
bigger/smaller, etc. No help.

Any ideas what's the problem and how to fix it? Thank you in advance.
