The easiest and cheapest way to do what you want is to get something like
this...

$25 converts your PC audio out to RCA, and gives you 50FT of cord you could
run under the baseboards or through the attic.

Or if you don't want to run the wire, you want to spend $225 instead, and
you want much better sound quality; you could go with something like this.

But if you were going to spend that much money, and you have a TV in the
same room as the stereo, you might as well go with this.

BUT, if you have a TV AND an XBox in the same room as the stereo, you could
