- Shut down issue
- Posted by Tim D on February 15th, 2008
We've been running XP media center edition 2005, It's been working well until
I received some updates recently. The PC will no long shutdown/hibernate
after turning on to record a show. We've noticed in the past that this is
usually caused due to pending updates which is cured with a full reboot.
There doesn't seem to be any updates pending which leaves me to believe that
it had to be caused by recent updates. We did have a problem applying .NET
framework 2.0 and aren't sure if this has caused the problems or the updates
in general.
Does anyone have any info regarding this problem?
Thanks
Tim
