- System time sync problems after standby/hibernation
- Posted by bruiser on February 9th, 2006
Just wondering if this is an MCE known issue. I've only had my HTPC for less
than a month, but it seems just recently (maybe after installing RU2), that
every time I bring the machine out of standby or hibernation, the system
time is at the exact time I put it to sleep.
It was suggested to me to close and not use the Windows time sync service,
which I have done. So far the time is correct after waking the system, so it
appears to work. BTW, I don't have any problems with time sync on my main XP
Home SP2 machine, which leads me to suspect this is an MCE problem.
Any one have any details or similar experiences?
