- 'Unsupported File Type'???
- Posted by Kezza on February 22nd, 2006
When I'm trying to record a Video DVD from MCE 05 I get the following
error..
'Unsupported File Type. One or more of the files you have selected is
not a supported file type and cannot be added to the list'
Having searched, I see that other people have had this problem but I'm
yet to find any hint of a possible solution.
Anyone out there got any suggestions as to how to fix this?

Is your file type dvr-ms? Does the file play properly in MCE or Media
Player? If so, you might try downloading the latest DVRMSToolbox, extracting
the mpeg file from the dvr-ms file, and try burning that.
You can find the toolbox at www.MediaCenterStuff.com in the Download section
for Crunchie.
