- Ghostview or emx changes display colours
- Posted by James Owens on November 5th, 2004
After I use Ghostview 4.6, my OS/2 background is a grainier-looking green, and
the colours (that's colors for U.S. googlers) on web pages are not what
they were. For all I know this has to do with emx. Is there a way to set
the screen colours back, or to prevent Ghostview/emx from changing them?

Hi,
I seem to remember that there is a "buxfix" menu option like "Use GPIBitBlit instead of bla bla ..."
that maybe prevents the system colour palette from being screwed up.
It might not be a problem with Ghostview or emx but rather with a display driver that does not
properly implement the GPI functions (that's what that workaround was for).

Hi,
I found it, its:
Media->Display Settings->Draw Method:
Default
GpiDrawBits
WinDrawBitmap
You should try Default or WinDrawBitmap or change the Depth (Color Depth).
