- lost workplace shell

Somehow I deleted the workplace shell icon. How can I recover it?

Do you mean the object in the system setup folder? If yes, open the
"XWorkplace Setup" object and go to the "Objects" tab. Click on the
"XWorkplace objects" button and select the "Workplace Shell" item
(should be the topmost). Done.

thought he didn't have it installed?
It is irrelevant to the real point anyway, which is that you never need
to reinstall anything to recreate an icon.
