old OS/2 distributions
Posted by Dan Lanciani on April 12th, 2008

I have some old OS/2 distributions (1.1EE, 1.2EE, 1.3EE, 1.3SE) that
I'm about to toss. Original boxes and everything. With the exception
of 1.3SE I know them to be complete. (1.3SE probably is as well, but
it was out of my hands at some point.) I also have an extended services
disk set. If anybody wants any of this to archive let me know...

Where are you located? If in the United States, I am collecting items
for an OS/2 museum to be part of a vintage computer museum in Wall,
NJ. Its also for display of OS/2 systems at Mid-Atlantic-East coast
Warpstock events. On the West coast, Neil Waldhauer
neildDESPAM@DESPAMblondeguy.com (remove the DESPAM@DESPAM before using
his email address) is collecting OS/2 items for display at West coast
Warpstock events.

I am particulary interested in finding any Microsoft branded (or OEM
branded as well) versions of OS/2 1.x. So far other than a few
Microsoft OS/2 1.3 manuals, all versions of OS/2 I have collected are
IBM releases. But I am still missing most of the IBM OS/2 1.x Extended
edition releases.

A list of the current East coast collection is at
http://home.ptd.net/~madodel/os2muse...useumitems.htm
and the West coast at http://www.blondeguy.com/OS2MuseumWest.html

Yes, in the US.

I have MS 1.10 and 1.21 distribution disks, but they are not originals.

Well, I think I have everything EE but 1.0. Not sure where that got to...

I'm very interested on some OS/2 software to share.

Which versions are needed?

I'm looking for two things -- rare older software, and OS/2 software
to sell to raise money to support the museum.
