Whats up with os2voice.org

Any mail to any list hosted at os2voice.org is getting a "failed to
connect" in weasel and I am not seeing any mail *from* those lists
either.

I check that each News post comes through before sending the next
(I've been burned before with sending a post before the first was
completely processed and having MajorMajor or Weasel hang on us. I
don't think its as big a deal since the volume is down below 600
subscribers now.) Anyway I've been seeing the posts come through
pretty quickly the past couple of days. What lists are you posting
to?

The PMMdev list and the majormajor list itself. The latter was the
real problem. I have weasel set to try direct and then fall back to my
ISP. The mail to the MM list yesterday morning finally turned up in
the early hours. The two I sent later on came back quicker, but were
still going via my ISP as weasel was getting the "failed to connect"
message. I tried telnet and that gave connection refused.

I've forwarded this to the SysAdmin to see if he can spot a problem.
Usually it's the News list that shows problems, not the smaller lists,
so I have no idea. Maybe the server was partying over the weekend.

According to Ken the VOICE SysAdmin, Weasel took the night off and had
to be restarted. Guess I was lucky and it happened when I didn't have
anything to send out on the News list. For the future, if there is a
problem with the VOICE web site or mail server you can send an email
to me madodelDESPAM@DESPAMptd.net or Ken
knkrchnrDESPAM@DESPAMeclipse.net (of course remove the DESPAM first).
