Did you sign a new contract for the service? Seems a bit rich them tying
you in to a new 12 month contract for a upgraded line.

Just hammer the bandwidth like mad, they will soon let you go.
In fact they will be glad of it.

Of course, everyone reads all of the T&C's, all of the time, every time. I
doubt you do.
Oh wait a minute, you set FU's to well known trolling groups....

Yes they did, it was clearly in the emails: -

Dear < >
BT is rolling out ultra fast BT Business Broadband, providing download
speeds of up to 8Mb*. The good news is you can upgrade at no extra cost
simply by signing up for another 12 months. The service is also subject to
local availability.

As you are a valued BT customer, we wanted to take this opportunity to
remind you of the following points.
a.. Billing for your broadband service on your 12-month minimum contract
starts from the day of your broadband speed change. You are invoiced
separately to your phone bill, in advance, on a quarterly basis from the
date that your service is activated. Please note that you are still charged
for the line rental of your phone line on your phone bill - this is not
included in your broadband monthly fee.

It was the first paragraph in the letter and it states the case plainly. BT
usually hide the "gotcha's" away in tiny print on the bottom or even the
back of the page, but this was about as straightforward as it gets.

I did NOT receive a written offer, the offer was made over the phone and
they did NOT mention a years new contract. However, because I explained this
to BT a MAC code has been issued for free.
So screw you, with your ignorant unhelpful comments !
