BT cabinets are/used to be cast - so it may be a Virgin (NTL/Telewest) one
as they are pretty flimsy pressed steel. Of course it could be a traffic
lights control, etc, etc. My image enhancing software only makes the pixels
bigger - oh, for the Hollywood option:-)

I'm guessing from the name of it that it's a decent resolution so put
it somewhere that doesn't limit the size, like photobucket or
imageshack etc...

Deffo not traffic lights; the box is situated just off a roundabout (I
guess the bus tried to go round too fast...), on the road to the
Comcast/NTL/Virgin Media office on Teesside.

Photobucket; good point:

It was taken with my old Nokia 6680 so it's not the best quality...

I'd hazard a guess at it being Virgin rather than ours (BT). Here's a BT cab
job that I got called out on at about 6.00am after local vandals had been at
it:

And do you have a nearby postcode or exact street details on it to

Alex,

As the OP took the picture a little while ago, I would be amazed if it
hasn't already been fixed.

Lol. It's fixed now anyway, it happened a few months ago. I came across
it this morning when I was sorting out some old bookmarks and idle
curiosity made me wonder who's cab it was. I suspected Virgin; their
office is just up the road:

There was a Telewest/Virgin/Whatever box broken open in our street for

The one down the end of our road is permanently open to the elements,
it started out by their contractors having to breakin as they didn't
have the key, but over time various panels have been warped or even
dissapeared completely. No problem for my telephone, like you I'm on
BT but it is of some concern as I use the Virgin feed for my FM radio
aeriel input..
