BT's Broadband plans (BT Communicator, Flexible Bandwidth and BT Rich Media)
Posted by Sunil Sood on April 20th, 2004

I have now uploaded the three BT .mpegs that I have previously mentioned
re: the above services on this group to a server for you to view if you
wish..

These are the .mpegs that BT are currently showing to city analysts etc to
"show off" the new services that they see as promoting demand for ADSL in
the future and that were preannounced last month - these are straight from
BT's PR machine though, so don't expect a really detailed video but instead
a "first look" at what BT are introducing and BT's hopes for their services.

I *strongly* suggest that you only view them if you have an ADSL (or faster
connection) - just look at the file sizes!

Its also probably also a good idea to save the files locally, (right click
on the link and choose the "save as" option) rather than trying to run them
directly from the server I have uploaded them too..

BT Communicator (22MB)
http://tinyurl.com/2y3sn

Flexible Bandwidth (27MB)
http://tinyurl.com/yufgr

BT Rich Media (which BT have now "officially" launched as well) - (20MB)
http://tinyurl.com/24p7j

Would be interested in anyone's comments and if they think that BT is right
in that these will encourage ADSL takeup

As I have previously mentioned the "BT Text" service seems that it will be
built into BT Communicator and I have left the details of a previous post
re: what "Phase One" of BT Communicator will offer below.

Regards
Sunil
