Bulldog going fishing?
Posted by robert w hall on November 18th, 2004

Not one but three leaflets for Bulldog's new 4Mbps service arrived
through the door with my Grauniad this morning in leafy North Bristol...

Funny thought I didn't know we'd got LLU in Thornbury yet.

But it didn't say anything about limited availability so I rang em up -
to find of course that not only had they no intention of unbundling our
little local exchange, but that they didn't intend to do anywhere in
Bristol for at least a 12 month.

Is this a fishing expedition by Bulldog, or are they unaware of the
distribution areas of the national dailies??

Perhaps they are trying to gauge future demand in your area - at least
they didn't spam you.

I thought that was what 'fishing' indicated

Three meaningless leaflets and a wasted phone call to find out what was
going on... which would you prefer.
