- Bulldog Users - are you experiencing connection problems - Sunday 30th Oct
- Posted by km on October 30th, 2005
I am a Plusnet user and have been telephoned by my son-in-law who is
with Bulldog. He cannot connect and the Bulldog web page which gives
Network status is not responding.
If this is just localised and there are any Bulldog users viewing this
message it would help if you could let me know whether there are
problems and whether the Network Status page can be read by you, if so
what issues are they experiencing at the moment and have they given a
timescale for it to be resolved.

Just another thought, if servers have had work done on them they
occasionally cause the DNS to stop working. If that is the case what
are the various DNS numbers available for Bulldog?
He lives in the Hampshire/Dorset border part of the country.

Yeah, just got back on about 10 mins ago. I'm in north London. Had a similar
prob last week, after months of uninterrupted service. Looks like Bulldog
are going downhill in terms of resillience.

Bulldog are having issues with their DNS server today - suggest he tries
using another ISP's DNS and see if that fixes things.

Yeah, I think it was DNS last week too (according to their network status
page).

I don't usually use their DNS servers, so normally don't notice these
problems
