Does anyone know if the D-Link DSL-504Tan be used at the host end of a VPN connection and if so
how/where is the username and password entered?

IMHO the available manuals are (a) inaccurate (b) badly written (c) badly translated.

Note this is the 504T. It replaced the 504 to which it bears no similarity in either design,
operation or functionality.

Any feedback on this issue would really be appreciated.

The DSL-504T only offers VPN pass through.
