I have a larger number of referrals, via web link, so cannot
ask each of them, but since the number has gone down by 10%,
in the last 2-3 months, I can tell that not all are happy.

However, many who are happy have fairly simple needs, and are
yet to try some service or facility which is affected. You'll
have seen various posts which query whether some protocols do
get 'traffic calmed' or not, because it has been unclear with
the apparently continuous 'fiddling' that the network people
have been up to, so one doesn't know from week to week what
will work and what won't.

It'll be very interesting to see how many of the new customers
from Metronet stay on, once they have their two weeks grace to
accept new terms and conditions (if they're clear enough about
how 'traffic management' might affect users). Given that one
can see comments from 'low traffic' users (who are clearly a
portion which don't come into the 1% of heaviest users, whose
needs are no longer being met), I suspect that your guess is
as good as the next person's over what portion are unhappy.
I suspect it is going to be closer to 10% if one includes
the Metronet users, once they see changes to their traffic.

I find it odd that they can make a 'quick change' to their traffic
management and then when there are complaints about service being
slow, it takes them up to a fortnight (or longer) to accept they
messed it up, and another few weeks to implement any corrective
measures. Is it perhaps to deliberately anger some users ? The
'open and honest' approach they have claimed certainly appears to
be lacking. I've certainly benefitted in the past from the scheme
of referrals, but was unable (because of anonymity) to let others I
know were paying 29.99 or 39.99 that they could downgrade to a 21.99
account.... How "open and honest" was that - big PR blunder IMNSHO.
