Metronet and Tiscali
Posted by Richard Sobey on July 5th, 2005

Hi all

Do Metronet get their net access through Tiscali? Is this a bad thing,
or is Tiscali's backbone network just as bad as their customer
service? I'm not displeased at all with Metronet (with them since
February or so) but I want to know if I can do better!

Cheers

Richard

Not sure why you'd draw that conclusion...

The only thing I noticed while using an ISP getting service from T was
the number of extra hops on any traceroute I did. Speed and connection
worked out fine for me...

Tiscali are not even better than dial up IMHO, do yourself a favour and go
anywhere but tiscali.
