- migrating from PlusNet
- Posted by Centurion on October 18th, 2005
I'm looking to move from PN (thank god), to a new ISP next week. I was
*just* about to sign up to F2S, but suddenly this Pipex move has halted me
in my tracks, having jumped from Pipex to PN about 18 months ago.
I'm looking for an ISP which provides a 2Mb (or higher) *unlimited* service
for around the £20-25 per month mark. I dont download 100Gb a month or any
such, but I hate the fact that I do *have* a limit and I'm totally against
traffic shaping. I live in the West of Scotland, so there isnt an LLU
services about 8(
Anyone got any recommendations?

Dunno. Been with Zen before, moved cos they were expensive. PN are really fucking
shit atm, this cannot be overstated. (and ive been with them 2.5 years)

Once again PlusNet is the ISP of choice for spammers. Time they were de-
peered from Usenet altogether, and took their trolls and spammers with
them.
That way we lose the referral bonus spammers and Moris/Superglue the
news.admin groups troll in one swoop, bargain!

My post was response to 'MinusNet' and the 'you get what you pay for'

response was abrupt but not abusive, unlike one response to my post.
Some newsreaders show a signature, some remove it, it could be up to
6 lines of 80 characters telling you about various Ebay auctions, or
some web site, whether commercial, charity, or in another category.
Mine happens to show a link, and explains that I save cash with my
choice of ISP. It has been such for month, so killfile me if you
don't like seeing my posts and my sig, or change newsreader, or
just live with it. FU set to uk.telecom.broadband. Peter M.
