- Netgear DG824M wireless router crashes with range extender
- Posted by JP on October 11th, 2003
When I use my Netgear DG824M with a D-Link DWL-800AP+ range
extender/signal repeater (bought in USA, not? available in
Europe)located in my house about 50 metres from the DG824M in my
neighbours house. The DG824M systematically crashes after about a
minute of web surfing and has to be rebooted. Other wireless routers
have no problem with this particular range extender. Has anyone else
had the same experience?

Have you checked that you're running the latest firmware (v1.4.5)?

Don't forget to install the firmware patches in order, you cannot jump an
update or just install V14.05 from V12.00.
