The newsgroup uk.media.broadband has now been removed.

The reason for the removal is:

Traffic to this group has dropped to a level indistinguishable from
zero, and the posts that are written would tend to be better served by
posting to uk.telecom.broadband anyway, being enquiries of a technical
telecoms nature.

When the removal was proposed there was a lot of support for the
removal and no one wanting to retain it.

The proposal was then put to a Fast Track and no objections have
been received.
