- Notspot survey
- Posted by Phil Thompson on January 24th, 2006
The Access to Broadband Campaign are trying to collate data on
locations that cannot receive "mainstream" broadband ie ADSL or Cable.
They are also interested in locations that can't get "enough" speed,
for example 512k only locations where users want more.
A small website at http://www.notspot.info/ leads to the survey.
The idea is to collect real data from frustrated end-users, rather
than playing the "98% of users on 99% of the exchanges" game which
still leaves the problem ill-defined.
