- ntl 1meg, £9.99 a month
- Posted by JobCentre Plus on June 8th, 2005
Hey....
I was in the process of pretending to leave NTL to get a price-cut,
and discovered that for 1meg it's £9.99 for the first 12 months. I've been
with them for a couple of years, but this is mainly for new customers. It's
quite a good offer considering only LLU providers can offer that for perhaps
512k, or maybe 1meg (bulldog?)
Just thought I should mention incase people were considering getting
broadband, it's certainly quite cheap. In 12 months if their pricing
structure hasn't changed, although i'm sure it will due to market shifts
etc, then i'll just look elsewhere :-)

Like a baseball cap perhaps? I don't really want a cap. And i don't use
IRC!!! You and your chat-programs depression.....you've spelled depression
wrong! Oh no!!
But yeah you're right, but i would rarely go over that i guess, even with a
little downloading :-) Forgot to mention that though, well done for
remembering!

Anyone who can get this £9.99 for 12 months should go for it especially if
you are currently an NTL customer on dialup.
As the broadband market becomes more saturated, by the time the 12 months
are up, the deal it reverts to @ £17.99 will very likely to be better and
cheaper.

Yeah i got my price cut, but new customers get it for £9.99 - which is
pretty good at the moment considering NTL is perhaps more widely available
than bulldog...not true perhaps, but bulldog do require you take out their
phone line - plus their customer services is good, but only once you can get
through to them! On hold for an hour...gave up in the end, similiar
experience from some work colleagues.
I've not started at 12 month contract with NTL; that was a few years ago, so
if a better offer comes along i'll see what NTL retaliate with "large fish n
chips mist0r?" yes please AMO, good retaliation indeed. I'll hop ship
eventually, although the telewest&ntl merger should do it some good.
