- [OT a bit] Lower level domain names
- Posted by Frank Stacey on September 2nd, 2005
I would like to register a domain name for my personal (non-commercial) use.
I would like it to be independent of any particular ISP. Since it is
personal I would like to include my family name. There will be thousands,
possibly orders of magnitude more, who share my name so I do not want
anything like a top level name - and probably couldn't get it if I tried.
How can I find possible domains from which I could hang a suitable
sub-domain. Well actually, from which some agency can set up a sib-domain
for me. I don't want to run any server from my own PC.

Gradwell.com can handle the DNS issues, mail, etc.
