Can anyone recommend a service provider for this facility
Cheers

The latter have their own viewer s/w. You might initially
find it difficult to see a 'free' option (using an 0870
number rather than a setup fee and monthly fee to pay)
and if this is the case, click on 'Help', then see the
heading 'Limited Account'. NB eFax will send you a few
e-mail messages per year, which carry sponsored ads, as a
way to fund the limited account. Handy as a reminder that
if you change mail address, you need to update eFax, too.

I'm not a heavy user and find the free efax service for incoming
emails fine - have to suffer their occasional promotional faxes. Not
sure if they still offer the option though (www.efax.com)
Don't use their "paid for" outgoing.

PumaOne is OK, though the free service has to be used at least once
every 90 days, else they terminate your number.

Since you are the second person to mention them - and each time I have given up

give a url pointing directly to their "free" thingy please...

let me know the good news.
Here is a link and yes, it is still free to have a basic number which
you can give to others etc., to SEND you a fax which will of course turn
into an email.

(the session ID was specific to your session)
I note it allocates an 07092 number (personal number) which is charged
at 37.5p/min peak time. There's also a requirement to have at least
4 faxes or 10 m,inutes of voice calls during the first 2 months
after signup, then monthly thereafter.
I'm happy to use the 0870 services of eFax.com and Inweb, which don't
place such costly call burdens on those sending me faxes. Peter M.

getting a faxes infrequently with no withdrawal of service. However, I
am going to phone them and clear this up to see if there are any
changes. I certainly would not like to think my fax number, (provided by
them and now on all my note paper), would be given to someone else.
